Make no mistake about it, there is no coincidence of the timing of this being quickly pushed through. The megamedia corps are taking it one step at a time in controlling the immediate and long term agenda, locally and nationally. Here in stupid land where people stand in line and beg to be manipulated and fucked in the ass, they won't notice a thing, as this town has been a joke as far as journalism goes, for a very, very long time. I guess the good news, if there is any, is that more underground (non-digital) newspapers will probably start popping up all over, in places where they didn't exist before. Although, the Administration will probably just tell the Democrats to pass a law characterizing those newspapers as terrorist propaganda, they'll arrest or destroy the owners and publishers, then outlaw free independent press altogether. And since they own the local and national press, no one will ever hear about it.
