Just found out they've permanently disabled my IG account for SPAM? Even though I've never posted anything? I can count on one hand how many times I've used the account for this blog and I've never posted anything, at all. What was I doing when I got kicked? Logging in for the first time in months (I mostly use my personal account) and I started to follow some of those I originally missed from my personal account. What accounts were these? Palestinian, Middle Eastern, and independent journalists.
Just an FYI, I plan to move this soon to protect the unpublished stuff (since it doesn't get backed up) until I'm ready to disable it. I'll be closing my google and Meta accounts and leaving these things that are bad for our brains and safety behind. We have to be free from the companies that restrict, devalue, and redefine our access to each other and the rest of the world while corralling the minds of citizens of the earth to keep us from coming together to remember there was life before iPhones, billionaires, and Lockheed Martin. They need us, we don't need them.
Welp. Now they've disabled my personal account. This was what I was watching when I got kicked.
Again, I never post, just like stories. I only sign in about once per day (if that) and only check about 10-15 accounts. So fucking absurd.
It was restored after I appealed gave them a code and my phone number, which they already had. I can't wait to get off of this shit.
