I am actually fairly happy about Biden, he was the guy we picked back in the fall as the likely running mate for Obama. I just always thought whoever it was that we'd all feel comfortable in his pick and let out a collective, "Ohhhhh, that makes sense," and I think that has happened here. They look great together, and as you can probably guess, I love blunt loudmouths who aren't afraid to mince words. The kind of guy who isn't afraid to hit a guy with glasses if the situation warranted it, ya know what I mean? He isn't tough for the sake of being tough, I think he believes in what he's doing, even if his opinion isn't in the majority all of the time. Sure, misspeaking can get you into trouble sometimes, but as long as you correct yourself, I'd rather fuck up my words relaying the truth rather than not saying anything at all. I think this is going to be fun. I really believe that Biden was the McCain campaign's worst nightmare, and if the initial reaction is indicative of the attack they have been planning for (most of what I heard could also be applied to McCain), I'm not worried. Biden is the perfect vicious ankle biter that allows Obama to remain the mild-mannered calm one, while Biden attempts to make McCain publicly lose his shit. Awesome.
