Weird Day

What a bizarre day of ups and downs. The day started with an unshakable feeling it was the middle-end of the week, biologically speaking. I kept constantly forgetting that it was Tuesday. Then, I watched/listened to Seder and Maron seemingly air out personal shit in a passive-aggressive uncomfortable manor, akin to two parents on the verge of divorce, trying not to argue in front of their children. Seder resembling mommy, Maron being Daddy (at least from my points of reference- what pop culture and fuzzy memories tell me), it was odd, partly because I love those guys. Followed that up, for some unexplained reason, with watching The Evil Dead, while filing and cleaning. That movie is always awesome-hilarious, but it really wasn't the best movie to be watching today, in the middle of the afternoon. Although, I do enjoy the absurd, but excellent end sequence.

And then, after the polls closed, there was the typical election results analysis clusterfuck. We found out that too many democratic Kentuckians are really fucking stupid, racist, and/or closet republicans, BOOOOO (fuck offending them if thirty-odd percent will vote for McCain anyway, besides the ones that can read still can't afford computers). Oregon (one of the places I've always considered moving to) is even more awesome than I thought, YAYYY! Clinton had that crazy look on her face, she's not going anywhere, BOOOOO. But Obama locked up the pledged delegate lead, YAYYYY! And gave a great speech, YAYYY! So we're up then?

I think I'm going to have some weird fucking dreams tonight.

A remote peniscopter flying around a press conference seems like a fitting ending to the day (via Aravosis).
