I still cannot believe in this day and age I'm not allowed watch my game on my local channel, that I pay a lot of fucking money for. Versus causes a blackout, and because the Caps/Flyers game is in OT and they won't switch to my game. Ab-fucking-surd. SOMEBODY FUCKING SCORE! I don't care who! Come on Alex, I have an important game to watch.
Five minutes of ridiculous commercials now, then the most over-rated piece of shit goalie in the league, who happens to be a Bush Republican, instead of the best series of the playoffs, so far. Wow, now I'm watching the zamboni in Philadelphia. Now more commercials. Wow, un-fucking-believable. Gee, I wonder why no one watches hockey in the US.
After I am proud of my guys, they did what needed to be done. But holy shit, Versus is a whole other reason not to watch hockey anymore. Apart from their horrible coverage, I don't watch 164 games a year to miss 1/2 the most important one of the season. Just like ESPN and ABC, Versus and NBC have continued to play a role in keeping hockey out of the mind of the average US sports fan (which isn't surprising since they were stupid enough to hire the majority of the same crew that SUCKED on Disney's channels). I will always love Neil Smith for his role in our '94 Cup, but Jesus, why networks continue to give that man a microphone, I'll never understand. It's really cool, too that after the game is over I still can't switch back Bay Area Comcast to watch the post-game show because Versus is still blocking it. Versus is a fucking joke.
