I know this may not seem newsworthy, but for other nerds like me, this is pretty exciting. I haven't seen Mars through a telescope since I was a child, and now I get to view The Red Planet with my child using the same telescope I used with my dad. We won't be able to view it this close again until she's 10 years old, I think that's pretty cool. Hopefully, there will be a clear night here soon enough.
