So it took 32 years to come our senses, but at least fuel efficiency requirements are going up to 35 mpg, by 2020! It's great to see the administration and republicans are still calling the shots. Ethanol is another neocon side project that is likely not the best overall solution to the problem, but they know that. Just like they knew that invading Iraq wasn't going to do much more than stir up more hatred for the US in the long-run.
The Democrats: Doing it half-assed, or not at all.
