If the initial goals were to buy Netanyahu time to empower and expand a despotic government in order to avoid losing power/getting convicted, to promise defense contractors a never-ending "wasteful spending of American tax payer dollars" gift, and exterminate as many Palestinians/Muslims as possible, while perpetuating generational trauma that will lead to more resistance fighters and groups, they've already won and they'll keep going until someone stops them.  They don't think about the judgement of history, their followers think this is a religious war, it's all completely in their mind, so they can frame it and themselves however they like.  That, in a nutshell, is what Zionism is, and what it is for.
