Don't think less of me (too late) but, I reluctantly created an account on Instagram to share/promote things/people because twitter is losing it's usefulness with the whole pro kleptocracy thing and the escalating we love and elevate Nazis while blatantly censoring anyone with an ounce of empathy or common sense whenever we want without cause angle.  That's part of it, but obviously not any kind of revelation, it's just that a lot of worthwhile longer-form videos regarding Palestine are exclusively there, and are often translated into English. But fuck man, I am apparently more of a boomer than I realized, in spite of tech being my fucking job for the past 20+ yrs, so I called upon my now almost 19 yr old daughter to help her elderly 46 yr old mom with understanding how it fucking works, she looked at me and said, "How the fuck am I supposed to know, you think I fuck with that shit?"  I love that kid so much.  She has a Twitter account, but I don't think she uses it very often and mainly only created it so she could follow my posts/retweets.  I also gave her a Bluesky code, but nobody is using that shit, at least from what I can tell. She saw how others were affected by using social media when she was younger and was like, NOPE, I am too sensitive of a person to subject myself to that bullshit.  I wish I'd had her wisdom, probably would have saved myself a lot of let down, shame, and heartache.  On the other hand I might not have found out what absolute fascist, racist, homophobic, transphobic twats some of our longtime "family friends" were/are.  Now they're no longer in my life and I am better off for it. 

Anyway, she knew enough to tell me that Instagram is really designed to be a phone app, so it's clunky and doesn't work properly unless you're using it on a phone, which is why it is so counterintuitive on a PC.  I told her, you know I don't put any social media apps on my phone because you give those apps access to everything when you agree to the TOS.  She said Yeah, that's why they make them so you have to put them on your phone. Yep, smart girl. I raised her right. I don't know how to share or do anything on that site, BUT it does seem to open Faris Badwan's page most of the time when try to open the main page, so I am not complaining about that. If all of my social media accounts open up on one of his many faces I'd probably open social media more often.  On second thought, that would definitely not be a good thing. I also fucked up and linked it to my personal facebook account, so once I create a new one I'll post the link here. My long, convoluted point is, once I can figure this shit out I hope to be posting more videos from Palestinian voices and other justice related topics.  We're definitely in the fucking shit now, things are probably going to get much, much worse before they get better (will they get better?), and I honestly don't think at this point either of the two parties we're all shackled to actually want to make things any better. I have been trying very hard to get out of mom tunnel vision for the past year or two, and now that's she's out in the world it's getting easier, yet much, much harder due to the state of the world. Hoping to get physically healthy and clear-headed so I can attempt to be more effective (been several months of ongoing bullshit now, that on some days, is physically and mentally debilitating).  Whether more social media is going to hinder or help that effort remains to be seen.  Hopefully finally clicking the delete button on facebook will help tremendously.

TLDR: Forgive me as I try to learn to post shit from these social media accounts which all have garbage UIs that don't really seem to give a shit whether or not they're functional or useful. On the contrary, they seem to be blatantly anti-organizing.  Probably lots of shit will go up just to go back down. Of course, I think I've had a total of 12 hits this month that are probably all bots, so I'm just sitting here talking to myself, as per usual.
