I saw this the other night while watching Damages, and even though it evokes a kind of familiar instant deep anxiety -- I had a somewhat similar, yet less terrifying situation with my daughter in an elevator at the hospital just last week -- I got giddy. Yes, giddy. Weird how things stand out when your brain is free from unnecessary bullshit that has been bogging it down for far too long. I currently feel an immediate need to surround myself with funny, strong, and independent influences and hey, look at that, Julie Klausner's book was just released, resulting in several great recent interviews -- which I plan to link to later -- including her participation in an awesome Best Show last week. Then, Sarah Silverman went on Letterman and kicked ass the day before the new shows start. All of these things are exactly what I need at this time. Thanks, Universe!
