Bob is much more diplomatic about these things than I am, but that doesn't lessen the important message he is trying to convey here. I would only add that sometimes we were raving lunatics about what the Bush administration was doing because they were murdering our soldiers and innocent civilians for nothing more than profit and long-term control over national politics, all under false pretenses. Those atrocities deserved and required loud semi-hyperbolic outbursts of ugly truth that went for the throat, disagreements about policy timelines and varying degrees of moderate to left ideals do not. As Bob said, just as they tune out the right wing fringe, the moderates and leaners will tune you out. And by tuning you out, they miss the rest of us who actually somewhat understand the way Washington and change itself work in conjunction with one another in order to facilitate enduring progressive success. And guess whose voice the corporate press is going to elevate? And it ain't because you're so fucking articulate or correct.
