Serious Sarcasm

Silly nutbags on both sides are attacking Patton Oswalt for his obvious sarcasm, so he posted some of the offended's emails for our viewing pleasure, or maybe as a warning of sorts. These are the kids who can benefit from the leadership of their President the most, as this kid so astutely pointed out:

"HE'S MOTIVATING US ASSHOLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

My poor daughter. If typical blog commenters and hate-mailers are indicative of the level of intelligence and thought process within the younger generations, those in line to run the country are surely going to take us further into the abyss of emptiness and despair toward a true Idiocracy. I don't care which "side" they're on and I don't care if they're only 14. Since when are teenagers excused for being blatantly dense and outspoken about what they clearly don't even try to understand? Fuckin' kids these days. Am I right, people? I think I liked 'em better when they didn't care about anything. Regardless, their misplaced/fake outrage directed at a comedian whom they choose to follow is still a funny read - so I suppose we'll at least be laughing as they drive the car off the cliff.

I, for one, cannot wait to see the fat-right-wing-cock-sucking-cunt again next month in Chicago. Very, very excited for that show. Hopefully I won't have to collar any attention-seeking hecklers this time.

Also, I love this quote from Patton:

It's such an amateuristic society right now. People were screaming amateurism during the OJ Simpson trial, because the police went straight to him as a suspect. That's partly why this amateur has trouble posting any of my insignificant opinions without feeling like a giant cunt. Who the fuck am I, anyway? Anyhow, this quote is from a very good AMC blog interview. You should read it, Mr. Oswalt is a very smart man. But you probably already knew that.
