Me, Me, Me McCain

TRex makes a great point about McCain typical behavior in even considering canceling the debate (while negatively injecting himself and his failing campaign into deal negotiations) has put thousands of lives in limbo, and doing so could potentially cost millions to the university and unknown amounts of time and money to thousands of those involved with the event. Not to mention disappointing the millions of us who have been looking forward to Obama calling out the spoiled motherfucker, face to face, in front of a nationally televised audience for months now. McCain doesn't give a shit, he's got his legacy to worry about.

TRex also brought up a comparison of this situation to the suggestion of rescheduling the RNC due to Gustov. Funny how there are still large towns that are feeling the effects of Ike, almost two weeks later, and I haven't heard a word from any of the Republicans about making sure there is adequate relief for those people and companies who were fucked by it. Maybe they just didn't want the RNC to have to compete with or be shown alongside hurricane/storm devastation television coverage. Over the past two weeks, they would have gladly given up the tv time to Ike aftermath coverage. Too bad for them that the country is busy falling apart due to their policies, or lack thereof, and the media kind of has to cover that.
