I'm probably going to be updating the site off and on over the next few days. If I can find a different layout that I like I may change the design entirely. I've know I've been letting it go for way too long. Also, I haven't been editing as much as I should be, and I fucking hate putting shit up, only to look back at it a day or so later and feel mortified that I left up a post up filled with careless errors and/or incomplete/nonsensical thoughts. My brain is so fucking scrambled (I almost typed "right now," but it seems to be all the time these days). I'm currently trying to figure out which widgets work and which ones look cheesy. Because I've gone back to Pandora for the first time in a long time, I was considering putting a station widget instead of using the Foxy Tunes stamp. I don't know since it usually doesn't take me long to get sick of Pandora. I may just scrap the music sharing shit all together. So far I have put up a Media Matters widget, as I think that it is one site that everyone should be reading every day. It's one of the few sites I started checking periodically long before ever reading most of the big blogs with any regularity (other than HuffPost). Anyway, sorry in advance for any pain in your ass.
The Pats and Bills won big games today, the Niners did exactly what I thought they would do. Pathetic. Poor Frank Gore, stuck on that shitty team. Oh my poor Brady, that was horrifying, but Cassel filled in nicely. The Bills will be fine with a few good games under Trent's belt. That doesn't change the fact that it's going to a tough season for each of my teams, just in different ways.
Also, undeveloped idea I wish someone would steal/think of: I think this could turn out awesome in the right hands. I was thinking someone needs to start a campaign complete with a mock McCain video called "I'm a Maverick, too!" It could show several different clear conservative hypocritical stereotypes excitedly explaining why they're "a Maverick, too", which would actually clearly illustrate why they are a typical mindless Republican douchebags who do/think what they're told. The point to push: they think, and want you to believe simply calling yourself a maverick is maverick-like, therefore anything you do is mavericky, just like McPalin. I know it's not much, but that's what I got so far. Maverick.
Anyway, forgive me for the scattered mess that will be my blog for probably the next week. Thank you for your patience in advance.
