Duh

When the fuck are people ever going to stop giving these assholes the benefit of the doubt? This has to drag out as long as possible for them to be able to confuse the shit out of the public, and apparently some Democrats, in order to gain any seats, let alone the Presidency (which I think many have given up on). Always entertain the very worst and slimiest ideas your mind can conjure when it comes to the right. Phone calls didn't stop the bailout from happening, it was never going to pass, not last week or yesterday, definitely not before their break. The pressure just allowed for a more credible rebuttal on both sides. The Republicans need more stall time in order to create a situation they can seem save. You know the corporate media will have to appear "fair and balanced" and that's all they need: reasonable doubt. I just can't believe it's not being called out at all, oh wait, yes I can.

Trust me, I think the Republicans are wrong, completely, from the Palin gamble to the October chaos, the clusterfuck (non) strategy just isn't going to work. There will be several more desperate stabs at something, anything, in a year they're set to lose badly. These people prefer to be called righteously incompetent idiots rather than be exposed for the greedy calculating cunts -- who don't give a shit about their constituents, let alone you and me -- that they are. There is NO reason to trust the large majority of the assholes on their side of the aisle. None. Just keep that in mind.

Believe it or not, this all really does make sense in my head. For now, anyway.
