Day 3

Same things I'd probably have been doing in a hotel room:
Cesca's live-blogging, Cenk is doing interesting interviews on The Young Turks from the convention with some audio of the speeches, and later I'll be catching up with the Maron v. Seder's I've missed, which Cenk was on today, and the little bit I saw was very funny. Otherwise, I'm just watching CSPAN, just like most everyone else should. Again, probably the same things I would have been doing in CO, it just would have been with a much more beautiful view and cleaner air in Glenwood Springs. Shit.

I am soooo much more excited for Biden's speech than for Clinton's. I have a feeling it's going to be awesome. Fuck, Evan Bayh needs to fucking go, quickly.

Yeah, I was wrong, Clinton's speech was well worth the usual Clinton drama. Old (un)faithful, he is (sorry, had to). He reminded me of why in the 90's, even when I didn't like the mother fucker, I still defended him. Kerry, Kerry (!!!) is doing awesome, AWESOME, so many great lines too, McCain v. McCain woke the crowd up. I hope this is a crescendo, I hope Biden doesn't disappoint.

Beau Biden was awesome, Joe was pretty good, a little long, but I think it was a good thing The Man popped in and brought the house down to gave them a little taste of tomorrow. I'm excited.

Also, I had a post explaining why I decided not to go to Denver after much thought and anguish, but after it was saved and closed, I later tried to reopen it and there were only the first few lines at the top of the page. It was pretty long, so I haven't brought myself to rewrite it, I will if I get motivated. Long story broken down into 3 bullet points, 1. Money 2. Guilt 3. 40 hours of driving. There are other reasons, but those were the main three. I might get back to it later, in case anyone really gives a shit. Right now I'm writing a post/essay/something about New Orleans that is my main focus.

Anyway, great lead in to the big show tomorrow. Here's Kerry's speech (via Cesca).
