The Trap Part II: The Lonely Robot.
Themes: Markets preferable to politics as a means of consent, which leads to cash equals freedom/free speech (the basis of the argument for privately financed elections); human behavior supposedly by the numbers; a partial explanation why I don't go to shrinks (though, I do think they can be helpful for some) and don't consider taking anti-depressants, no matter how shitty I feel periodically (as an aside, this incident scared the shit out of me as a kid, and is likely where my suspicion of pharmaceuticals began).
