Jed makes a damn good point about just how historical Obama's steady increase in support, and his eventual unseating of the Clinton's as the reining King and Queen of the somewhat impotent democratic party, actually is. In spite of the lunatics (which there's great footage of from Hamsher, but it infuriates me, so I'm not going to post it here, for now) and ugliness today, I think the committee held a respectable meeting. I am so proud to be a democrat, and even more proud of our base and our supporters. Senator Obama has an amazing organization, we should all be proud of the hand we had in building it.
More lunatics, and this is from a fucking school teacher who talks about showing the kids her bruise. I guess they should have shut the fuck up the first 15 times they were asked to be respectful. Shit, I was pissed at home I can't imagine what I would have said/done in response if I was there, I like to think nothing, but she should be glad that bruise is all she got- just sayin'.
