Obama Had the 50-50 Votes

Supposedly, Obama had the votes for a 50-50 split in MI, but didn't take it,instead chosing to favor a larger majority vote, resulting in the 69-59 compromise. If this is true, that was pretty damn smart, and may go a long way in the long run.

From NBC's Chuck Todd
Per multiple sources inside the closed Rules and Bylaws Committee lunch, Obama actually had the votes to get a 50-50 delegate split out of Michigan -- but by just a vote or two.

However, it was decided to go with the 69-59 split to win a larger majority. That measure passed 19-8.

*** UPDATE *** Also, according to those with knowledge of the Michigan agreement, it is fair to claim Clinton the winner of Michigan. But they caution against counting her popular vote in the state.

Well, that's good to caution against it, but it's actual utter bullshit to consider it at all. As long as this shit drags on, all Obama can really do is let the surrogates and bloggers shout Clinton and her absurd supporters down, while hoping that she continues to make ill advised decisions, like she's has, one after another, for months now. I would say expect more McCain and Republican praise over the next few days from the Clinton camp if they really do plan to drag this to the convention.

Wouldn't that be nice if Clinton got a massage, or maybe a tension releasing poke, something? Her hard liquor vice is clearly not working, she needs something to make her chill out and say, "Fuck it! I can't do this anymore, it's not fucking worth it!" Because it isn't. No matter what happens, it's not going to fix what that dumbass did to her in the 90's (and probably continues to do today). She might think it's owed to her, and it would have been handed to her, had she chose to work for it. She chose to assume that she was the heir apparent, that no one would dare take the nomination from her. In fact, it was the laziness of her campaign, the low expectations and lack of respect for her opponents, misunderstanding of where the country is at, and underestimation of the passion that it takes to get your person in the White House. By the end of Bill's second term, thanks to his public blowjobs and her public humiliation, along with Ken Starr and the republican effort, she forgot all of those things she should have learned during his campaigns and Presidency. It's a fucking shame, really. Last fall, I was sure that she'd have a high position in a Obama cabinet or administration, now I, and I'm sure millions of others, don't want her or her minions anywhere near the White House over the next eight years. I honestly wonder if that marriage will last now that she knows that she'll never win while still being married to him. Whether it's because of us women, who don't have a lot of respect for her decision to stay with him, or because he doesn't really want her to win, I'm not sure. Check this shit out. Don't you think he would have been more effective had he been quietly subdued in his loyalty and support, flashed that charisma everyone seems to think he has? No, they played the game instead, the bullshit united front, only many of us didn't buy it.
