So glad we can finally, really start enjoying what this nomination means to not only this country, but the rest of the world, because now, more than any time in the past 7 years we need the world rooting for us. If we realistically hope to make bold changes in the way we handle ours and other wars, globalization, oil, economic, and environmental problems it starts right now in the general, as he begins to run down the specifics of his platform and rally his troops. He and his staff know that now is the time that you garner the support that you'll need in your first year if you hope to get anything done (which is why we need Bill Clinton to be genuine in his support or he needs to back off). There's a lot to overturn from the last 8 years, but whether most of the country knows it or not yet, we're ready for Senator Obama, and those he chooses to trust and respect with feasible big plans and ideas to put into action. Some I spoke to are so enthusiastic about Barack Obama that they have over-looked the fact that his real political battle, against Republican Senator John McCain, is about to begin.
Those Kenyans have already anointed him President of the United States.
