No pity. As I think I've expressed here before, I have, at times, had some semblance of sympathy for Hillary Clinton at different phases of the campaign when I thought she might be coming to her senses, but that feels like a long time removed from today. Too much has been said and done. I don't have much sympathy for women who hide behind feminism because of the hate and vengeance that they have for a man or men that did something horrible to them at some point in their lifetimes, holding half of the population responsible for a single or sometimes series of actions done by one man, or several in a line of bad relationships. I've dealt with insensitive "A-typical" men my whole life (especially since around 12, when I got my boobs and butt), a few domineering/abusive, some more than others, but many were simply just fucking cocks, just like some chicks are fucking cunts. Mostly these were otherwise "normal" people who have anger issues, sex issues, or generally make a mistake that shouldn't define their or the victim's life. Doesn't mean it should be accepted, but we should be dealing with them, and their problems, not trying to pretend it away with spouting troubling stats and figures. Many have been affected by their own abusive or dysfunctional relationships with both sexes (and parents), but are aware enough to recognize that this can't be a men vs. women war. My sister is a DV advocate, and sees some horrifying shit, including abuse that ends up in murder. That's why there is nothing is more frustrating than the time she and her law enforcement colleagues have to waste on some asshole using the system to get back at their lover or family member for a petty spat. It apparently happens more often than we'd like to know. Allowing your specific personal distrust to manifest itself unhealthily doesn't help women's causes, or gender issues. When women band together out of misguided anger, it becomes just another, in a long line of horrible group oriented mistakes made by so-called feminists. Many of whom are really just hell-bent on vicariously serving up revenge to those men who have hurt them by screwing Obama, and helping......angry old white guy McCain? Who called his wife a cunt in public with no qualms about it?
Yeah, you reap what you sow. No fucking sympathy from me.
