Red Devils Title on the Line Today

As has happened so many times before, I'm counting on Sir Alex Ferguson and Man-U to pull out my sports season for me. For the past, I think, 15 years I've had a team I root for win at least one major title/tournament of one of the sports I follow. While I don't watch nearly enough soccer these days, I still try to keep up with what's going on with the team during the season, and catch a game here and there. I know you're not supposed to like Manchester because it's not "cool", but I have been with that team since the mid-late eighties, when my awesome coach gave me a Soccer World that had an article in it about the history of Man-U, and just like the Rangers or Bills, I just picked them. I didn't watch my first Manchester match until a few years later when I moved to CA, and eventually got lucky because I met one of my best friends in the world (miss you Andrew!), whose family owns Soccer Learning Systems, and who awesomely supplied me with my Man-U fix with videos. Been watching when I can ever since.

I'm so glad the stupid talk about Sir Alex retiring should be dead for at least a few more years. This is an excellent article about him and the history of the team during his glorious time in Manchester.

Beat Wigan!!! Good luck guys!

I can always count on United. Wooo-hooo!

Giggsy!
