I really wish I could afford to move back to San Francisco. It really does feel like it is its own little country out there, by comparison to almost anywhere else in the the rest of the nation. When you live there it's hard to give a shit about the rest of the country in a non-global way, I don't think that's always a bad thing. This may not be a perfect plan yet, but it's a step in the right direction.
