At unexpected intervals, George Stranahan changes the photo and caption on his phlog. I only usually check it when I need some wisdom, as it's one of my two homepages in IE, but rarely do I ever see it because I use firefox most of the time. I am one of those idiots who doesn't believe in any kind of human-based entity concept of a god, yet reads horoscopes to help make sense of confusing shit, knowing full well I could pick a fortune cookie out of a garbage bag and receive the same sort of coincidental general information. But I am also some such idiot that I am baffled sometimes when they're creepily right on, that is until I read another one from somewhere else that completely discounts the first. Anyway, my point is Stranahan's phlog is like that, in that I can click on it at any time and it means something different to me each time I read it, depending on what's going on at that time. His writing is obviously much more thoughtful and thought-provoking than the average horoscope. He's an amazing photographer with a hint of Hunter's story-telling skills, only styled by his own flare and perspective. He helped fill a very large void for me a few years ago when I stumbled upon his stuff. If you go the website there are lots of other interesting things to click on, and the archives are amazing, too (the page takes a little while to fully load). Thanks, George, you're fucking awesome.
