Goddammit. I haven't watched the Oscars yet, but I just saw this headline from Nicole Belle at Crooks & Liars, so no need to wait to congratulate Alex Gibney and crew. I have only seen short clips of Taxi To The Dark Side, but I'm certain it must be a great thing that, as usual, HBO showed the giant balls that other networks don't possess and decided to pick up the film for a timely premiere in September. We should all aspire to have the courage and drive that Alex and many other current documentarians exercise when they put their lives on the line for truth and integrity.
