Fucking CNN, Fucking Baseball

Here in Shithole, USA we can't watch the debate unless you have cable. So, I am watching CNN, and you just know they can't wait for the debate to end so they can talk about Steroids and the professional players implicated in using it today. Really? This is a surprise? There aren’t many other things that annoy me more than feigning shock. If the NHL released the same findings today, nobody in the US would give a shit because it's hockey, but it would be astonishing news because the league has an amazingly low rate of steroid use among pro sports. But Baseball? When I was in high school, it was my baseball player friends that spoke of steroid use, much more than football players, that's for sure. I just think that baseball fans (I enjoy going to a game now and then, but am hardly a fan) are full of shit, I think they've known since Mark McGuire that it's likely that a majority of players use some sort of performance enhancing drugs. What'll be interesting to see in this day and age of "torture is good" mentality is if the public really cares, superficially and behind closed doors.

Question for Senator Obama on how he'll implement change using seasoned former (Bill) Clinton advisers:
Senator Clinton: “I’d like to hear the answer to that as well.”
Followed by gotcha laughter.
Senator Obama: “I’m looking forward to you advising me as well.”
