Playing For Second

It's been pointed out over the last month that if Clinton can't have the nomination she'll continue to destroy Obama so that she can win the next election after a nightmare Republican administration. While that's part of it, I have been thinking since last month all of this shit is also about her want to secure the VP position any way she can, arguing it'll be an equal and fair ticket, making nicey-nice with her inevitable ass kissing. So she continues to campaign hoping it makes her look more presidential and helps to rack up numbers of Clinton-lovers (like that?) and victim sympathizers to keep it "close". With the VP position being a much more powerful and high profile one now, they'll take it over nothing. The Clinton's just want to be sure that if they don't end up on the ticket everyone blames Obama and his supporters as McCain uses all of their own slime ball bullshit to take him down, and they say I told you so, which also helps 4 years from now in la la land. She'll have to make the media and voters perceive she's the only person Obama could possibly pick in order to win the general. I think they panicked a few weeks ago, when they realized that just isn't going to happen without force. Now they're grasping at straws, looking for anything to hang their hat on, but can't decide if they want to force the issue or just destroy him because he's not likely to play ball without Democratic intervention. It's a horrible strategy as one discounts the other, but that's how's I see's it. He needs to start making a case against her, by putting it in the context of her not being the VP pick.
Maybe I'm wrong, and/or maybe none of this makes any sense at all.
